Microwaves store high voltage even when unplugged, so repairs should always be done by a trained technician. We repair over-the-range, built-in and drawer microwaves from all major brands.
When a microwave won't heat
If the light and turntable work but food stays cold, the cause is usually the magnetron, high-voltage diode, capacitor or a door interlock switch. We test the high-voltage circuit safely and replace only what has failed.
Sparking and burning smells
Sparks are often caused by a damaged waveguide cover or chipped cavity paint. Stop using the microwave and call us. These are usually simple, inexpensive repairs when caught early.
Over-the-range extras
Over-the-range microwaves also act as your vent hood. We repair vent fans, lights and filters, and make sure the unit is mounted securely.
Backed by warranty
Every microwave repair is covered by our parts and labor warranty.
